Support
Help with Yetera, and how to reach us.
Contact us
Write to caelune.support@gmail.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
To help us find the problem faster, please include:
- what happens, and the steps you took;
- your iOS version and device model;
- the Yetera version you’re using (see the next section).
Please don’t send Passwords, payment card details, Apple account credentials or other sensitive personal information. We don’t need them and will never ask you for them.
Finding your app version
Yetera doesn’t currently show a version number inside the app. Where to find it depends on how you installed it:
- Testing with TestFlight: open the Yetera page in TestFlight to see the version and build number (for example 1.0.0 (8)).
- Installed from the App Store: open the Yetera page on the App Store; the version is listed under the Information section.
Include that version along with your iOS version and device model — that’s usually enough for us to locate the issue.
Backups and restore
Where are my records kept?
On this device. Yetera has no account to register. If you turn on iCloud sync, the selected decision, goal and profile fields sync through your own Apple account.
Do photos sync, or go into a backup?
Yetera’s iCloud sync does not upload photos, and Yetera JSON backups do not include them. Whether iOS/iCloud device backups include photos depends on Apple’s system behavior and your device settings. Yetera sync and JSON backups do not transfer photos when you change devices.
How do I export a backup?
Open Profile → Data & backup → Export backup. It creates a JSON file you can save to Files or share elsewhere. The backup contains your records, goals and some settings; it contains no photos and no purchase state.
How do I restore from a backup?
On the same screen, choose Import backup and pick that file. Records already on this device are kept, anything extra in the backup is added, and for the same record the newer one wins. Settings are not overwritten.
iCloud sync
Do I need a Yetera account?
No. Yetera has no account system. Sync uses the Apple account signed in through iOS Settings.
Can I use Yetera without iCloud?
Yes. It works fully offline, with records kept on the device. When iCloud or the network is unavailable you can keep using the app, and sync resumes when it’s available again.
What does “Needs attention” mean?
It means some changes, or an iCloud account change, need your confirmation. Your local choices are retained, the affected changes pause syncing, and other records carry on. You can open “Review versions” to compare item by item, or export a backup first. Before you start, check that the Apple account signed in on the device is the original one.
What happens if I switch iCloud accounts?
Yetera doesn’t hand your existing records to a different account. Data belonging to the original account is retained and its sync is held until you return to that account.
Does clearing data on this device delete my iCloud records?
No. “Clear all data” clears this device only and pauses sync here; records already in iCloud are not deleted.
Yetera Lifetime and restoring a purchase
Your first 3 completed decisions are free. After that, a one-time Lifetime purchase is needed to start new items. There is no subscription.
- The free allowance only affects starting a new item. Items already under way — buying, letting go, waiting longer, editing, reminders — are unaffected, as are your history, goals, review, sync and backups.
- Tap “Yetera Lifetime” in Profile to see the price and the Restore Purchases option.
- The price is shown by the App Store for your storefront.
- On a new device or after reinstalling, tap Restore Purchases with the Apple account you bought it with.
- If nothing is found to restore, check that the Apple account signed in on the device is the one used for the purchase, then try again.
Deleting your data
- One record: swipe the row all the way to delete it, or delete it from the detail screen. Goals in the vault are deleted the same way.
- This device: Profile → Data & backup → Clear all data. Items, history, goals, the vault balance and local photos are removed permanently. Records already in iCloud are not deleted.
- Records already in iCloud: Yetera currently has no separate feature to delete cloud records. You can delete records in the app (which creates a sync deletion event), and manage iCloud access in iOS Settings.
